Q: What is the "Canine Camp" program?
A: Your dog is boarded with us and receives very focused training on
all obedience skills with hand signals and problem solving,
supervised play & swim time, and a bath and brush is available on departure day!
Plus, you will receive two private transfer lessons and five group classes, where the focus is on you!
Q: Will my dog remember his old commands when he comes home?
A: Absolutely! Training will provide just another element and better communication to your relationship!
Q: Will the training break his spirit?
A: Not at all, training actually improves the reliability of your dog and stabilized his/her behavior.
In many ways it builds spirit and confidence!
Q: If you train him, will he listen to me?
A: Our "Canine Camp" provides two private lessons to transfer the authority to you.
There is plenty of time for you to be involved in the initial training phase of your dog's training.
Our training philosophy incorporates the understanding of the dog as a pack animal and
his desire for structure and leadership.
We use a proven balanced method of positive reinforcement, motivation and clear direction.
We call it "classical" training.
Evaluation Consultation
A consultation is the first step required to help us assess your goals and
evaluate your dog's personality.
All program details and scheduling is thoroughly discussed at this time.
We offer full training programs from your puppy's first start, on through to advanced off leash obedience!
We work with families and handlers of all ages and skill levels.
Our professional trainers have numerous years of education and hands on experience and
will provide references upon request.
